Former India goalkeeper Prasanta Dora passes away aged 44 due to rare disease

Former India goalkeeper Prasanta Dora passed away at the age of 44 on Tuesday. He was diagnosed with a rare disease called Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) in December last year after he developed an unremitting fever, his elder brother Hemanta said. Prasanta is survived by 12-year old son Adi and wife Soumi.
