Former Maoist cadre 'Dr Champa' clears Class 10, eyes nursing

Geeta Narote, a former Maoist cadre from Bastar, has cleared her Class 10 State Open School examination after dropping out in Class 6 following her father's killing. Known as 'Dr Champa' for working with Maoist medical team, the 36-year-old wants to pursue nursing. She is among eight surrendered cadres from Bastar division who cleared examination and hope to continue education.
