Former Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Arun Prakash (retd) received a notice from the Election Commission, asking him to prove his identity. The notice said that he and his relatives could not be established as "registered electors in the electoral rolls". Reacting to it, he said "The BLO visited us three times and could have asked for additional information."
