Former President of Pakistan General Pervez Musharraf has passed away at the age of 79 after a prolonged illness, Pakistani media reported. He was reportedly admitted to a hospital in Dubai. Earlier, his family had stated that he was suffering from Amyloidosis, a rare disease that occurs when amyloid proteins are deposited in tissues and organs.
