A Kansas judge ruled former news anchor Angelynn Mock mentally incompetent to stand trial for the Halloween stabbing death of her 80-year-old mother. Mock, previously diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, was ordered to a state psychiatric hospital for treatment. The murder case is stayed, not dismissed, and may resume if her competency is later restored.
