Epic Games, the creator of a popular video game 'Fortnite', has raised $1 billion in the latest financing round which has valued the company at $28.7 billion. The funding includes an investment of $200 million from Sony Group, Epic Games said. The CEO of the American video game developer, Tim Sweeney, remains the controlling shareholder, the company added.
