Scientists on Thursday announced the discovery of a nearly-complete fossil of a "bizarre" shark that existed about 93 million years ago. Called Aquilolamna milarcae, the shark was shaped unlike any other known marine creature and had curiously elongated wing-like fins. It had a fin span of about 6-1/4 feet and was about 5-1/2 feet in length.
