Scientists on Thursday discovered the 150-million-year old fossilised remains of a piranha-like species which they claim was the world's first flesh-eating fish. “We were stunned that this fish had teeth...capable of slicing flesh," one of the scientists said. The bony fish, that lived in the Jurassic period, had long, pointed teeth at the front of the upper and lower jaws.
