Foundation of deep-water port project costing ₹76,000 cr laid by PM Modi in Maharashtra
PM Narendra Modi on Friday laid the foundation stone of Vadhvan Port, whose estimated cost is around ₹76,000 crore, in Maharashtra's Palghar. Dubbed one of India's largest deep-water ports, the Vadhvan Port will have nine cutting-edge container terminals, four versatile multi-purpose berths and a greenfield port with a 20-metre natural draft. It will boost employment and Maharashtra's economy.
