Sakharov Sarkar, a BJP leader from West Bengal's Murshidabad district, claimed that the foundation stone for a Ram Mandir will be laid in Berhampore on December 6. His remarks follow TMC MLA Humayun Kabir's announcement to begin constructing a new Babri Masjid in Beldanga on the same day. Posters announcing the construction of Babri Masjid also surfaced in Murshidabad district.
