Founding Father of Singapore Lee Kuan Yew dies

Lee Kuan Yew, the founding father and first Premier of Singapore died on Monday morning aged 91. Mr. Lee became Singapore's first Prime Minister in 1959- a post he held till 1990 when he decided to step down. He is widely credited for transforming the tiny island nation into one of the wealthiest and least corrupt countries in Asia.
