Foxconn Founder urges Apple to shift plants from China to Taiwan

Apple's largest iPhone assembler Foxconn's Founder Terry Gou has asked the technology giant to move part of its production chain out of China. "I'm urging Apple to move to Taiwan," said the 69-year-old billionaire, who is currently the richest man in Taiwan. Notably, Gou has announced his resignation as the manufacturing giant's Chairman to contest Taiwan's 2020 presidential election.
