Foxconn plans to increase production of AirPods at its Kongara Kalan facility in Telangana, The Economic Times reported. Output is expected to rise to 2 lakh units per month from the current 1 lakh, while the workforce will grow to 5,000. A total investment of ₹4,800 crore is planned, of which over ₹3,000 crore has already been deployed.
