Electronics manufacturing major Foxconn is planning to set up new manufacturing facilities in six months in India. The company manufactures phones and television sets for various companies– including Xiaomi, OnePlus– and Apple products in China. Foxconn presently has a facility in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh and is in the process of setting up a new plant in Maharashtra.
