Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) have invested ₹4,794 crore in Indian equities in the week ending Friday, NewsBytes reported, citing NSDL data. The surge came as a result of major inflows on April 13 and 16, after a slight dip was observed mid-week. FPIs recorded a net inflow of ₹3,717.44 crore across all asset classes this week as per NSDL.
