Researchers have found fragments of rare CI chondrite meteorites in lunar soil brought from Moon's far side by China's Chang'e-6 mission. Collected from the Aitken Basin, the carbon-rich particles showed distinct isotopic patterns and minerals like olivine. Scientists were surprised to find that these fragile meteorites, which rarely survive in Earth's environment, remained preserved on the Moon.
