The Delhi High Court has asked the Delhi government, the MCD, and the Animal Welfare Board of India to frame a policy on the rehabilitation of stray dogs at an institutional level so that they are phased out from public roads and streets. The court ordered this while hearing a woman's petition against the demolition of her dog care shelter.
