A French police officer who fatally shot a 17-year-old boy for not stopping his vehicle is under formal investigation for voluntary homicide, a prosecutor said on Thursday. The shooting of the teen, who was of African descent, during a traffic stop has triggered riots across France. French President Emmanuel Macron convened a crisis meeting with senior ministers over the issue.
