France's Yellow Vests plan Oct. 24 & 31 protests

France's Yellow Vest coordination group announced fresh protests on Oct. 24 and 31, following Oct. 17 demonstrations against high living costs. Organizers aim to build momentum toward a Nov. 5 nationwide union strike. The group criticized President Macron's televised address as an 'empty speech' and requested a meeting at the Elysee Palace.
