Bishop Franco Mulakkal rape case survivor Sister Ranit has said fear of stigma and being labelled 'runaway nun' forced her into years of silence despite repeated abuse. Speaking after bishop's acquittal, she described deep trauma, isolation and false allegations against her family. She said church leadership stayed silent, other nuns suffered similarly, and she received no money from the diocese.
