Free MRI and CT scan services in at least 13 district hospitals in Karnataka were abruptly halted after M/s Krsnaa Diagnostics Ltd, the private agency contracted by the state government, stopped work. It cited unpaid dues of about ₹143 crore pending since 2019. Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao said that the disputed bills date back to the previous BJP government.
