French President pardons abuse victim who killed her husband

French woman Jacqueline Sauvage, convicted of murdering her allegedly violent husband Norbert Marot, has been freed from prison after President François Hollande gave her a pardon. Sauvage and her daughters claimed that Marot had beaten and sexually abused them and that they felt too humiliated to seek help. Sauvage will leave prison after completing three years of her 10-year sentence.
