French President Francois Hollande (59) Saturday announced his split with his longstanding partner Valerie Trierweiler (48) after his affair with French actress Julie Gayet (41). Trierweiler is a twice-divorced career journalist who has three children of her own. Trierweiler is not married to Hollande but assumed the role of first lady at official functions after Hollande's election in 2012.
