Google Analytics risks giving United States' intelligence agencies access to French website users' data, French watchdog CNIL said. It made the observation after passing a decision targeting an unnamed French website manager. CNIL said that Google hadn't taken sufficient measures to guarantee data privacy rights under European Union regulations when data was transferred between Europe and the US.
