In its fifth acquisition, cloud-based customer support software Freshdesk has acquired social customer support startup Airwoot for an undisclosed amount. However, Airwoot will continue to support its existing customers and function as a standalone product. Founded in 2012 by Achal Aggarwal, Prabhat Saraswat and Saurabh Arora, Airwoot helps brands enhance their customer engagement on social media.
