Cognizant, which is facing backlash on social media over the ₹2.52 lakh annual salary offer for freshers, has said that the company offers ₹4-12 lakh annual salary to fresh engineering graduates. Cognizant clarified that the ₹2.52 lakh annual salary "was only for candidates with a 3-year undergraduate degree and not for engineering graduates".
