Freshworks, the first India-born software-as-a-service (SaaS) firm to be listed on the NASDAQ, has laid off about 90 employees or 2% of its total workforce. "We shifted some existing roles in product, marketing and sales to support more critical initiatives...and reduced the need for a small number of others," a company spokesperson said. The decision has impacted 60 Indian employees.
