The Trinamool Congress (TMC) nominated journalist Sagarikha Ghose as a Rajya Sabha candidate for the upcoming polls. Apart from Ghose, several journalists like Manish Sisodia, Arun Shourie, Swapan Dasgupta, Ashish Khetan, Kumar Ketkar have joined politics in the past from different parties.
