Fruit juice is not healthy for most adults as it has high sugar content and low fiber. Juicing removes many phytochemicals and most fiber. Fruit sugar, in the absence of fibre, is rapidly absorbed leading to sugar spikes. While 100% fruit juice offers some nutrients, its quick sugar absorption can contribute to weight gain & should be consumed in moderation.
