FSSAI flags HUL's Women’s Horlicks & Nestle India's instant coffee, issues notices

FSSAI has issued a notice to Hindustan Unilever Private Ltd for selling 'Horlicks Women's Plus Chocolate' and 'Horlicks Mothers' Plus Kesar' with misleading claims. It also issued a notice to Nestle India Ltd for "inconsistent descriptions" on the 'Nescafe, ready to drink' coffee range. FSSAI suspended the licence of Balaji Food Products for various food safety and hygiene violations.
