Authorities in Surat seized 1,401 kg of adulterated paneer worth ₹28.44 lakh from a godown running without an FSSAI licence. The raid was conducted after complaints about illegal food production. The stock was confirmed as fake paneer and consumers are advised to check FSSAI labels and product quality before buying.
