FSSAI has issued notices to Red Bull, Monster, Hell Energy, Sting, Campa and PepsiCo's Adrenaline Rush for misbranding and misleading "Energy Drink" claims. The statutory body stated that FSSAI hasn't notified any standard for this. It also added that claims like 'vitalises body and mind', 'enhancing focus', 'boost energy levels', 'aid in general weakness', etc, aren't permissible.
