FSSAI suspends food licence of Park Plaza Hotel in Shahdara

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has suspended food licence of Park Plaza Hotel (part of Mahagun Hotels) in Shahdara, Delhi, with immediate effect for 15 days. FSSAI said it found multiple gross non-compliances, including the use of degraded cooking oil and fungal growth on tomatoes and beetroots. A live earworm was found in food preparation zone.
