The former CEO of crypto exchange FTX Sam Bankman-Fried used a VPN to watch the Super Bowl while serving out his pre-trial home confinement at his parents' house. The US government prosecutors raised concerns over the use saying VPN hides a user's IP address and that third parties like the government cannot see which websites a user is visiting.
