Nehal Modi, fugitive diamantaire Nirav Modi's brother, has been arrested in US on an extradition request by the CBI and the ED, PTI reported quoting officials. Nehal was sentenced to 3-9 years in prison in 2022 by a US court for fraudulently obtaining $2.6-million diamonds from Manhattan-based wholesale company LLD Diamonds USA. He's an accused in ₹12,700-crore PNB scam too.
