A USC study is trying to treat lung cancer at home instead of in the hospital. They're giving the drug Atezolizumab under the skin. This could make it much easier for people to get cancer treatment. Given that 81% of lung cancer occurrences in the US are non-small cells, this research may open the door for patients.
