Future Retail's CEO Sadashiv Nayak has resigned from his role, more than seven months after taking up the role. Nayak has been with Future Group for around 18 years and had been appointed CEO in August 2021. This comes amid Future Retail's legal battle with US e-commerce giant Amazon over a $3.4-billion sale of its retail assets to Reliance Industries.
