India's largest gas distributor GAIL (India) plans to set up a 600 MW greenfield solar power project in UP at an estimated cost of ₹3,294.86 crore, the company said. The project includes 600 MW of solar capacity along with a 550 MWh co-located battery energy storage system. The completion timeline is 15 months from the award of the EPC contract.
