Video game retailer GameStop has fired its Chief Financial Officer Mike Recupero, Reuters reported. Following the news, the shares of the firm fell 8% in extended trading. Axios, which first reported Recupero's exit, cited a memo and reported that the firm is laying off an undisclosed number of employees. Recupero will be replaced by Chief Accounting Officer Diana Saadeh-Jajeh.
