Mahatma Gandhi's statue in South Africa's Johannesburg was Sunday vandalised by a group of people wearing African National Congress (ANC) caps. The group smeared the statue with white paint and carried placards that read, 'Racist Gandhi must fall'. The police have arrested a 21-year-old man in connection with the incident who will appear before Johannesburg Magistrates Court on Monday.
