The Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday took custody of jailed gangster-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari in Uttar Pradesh in connection with a Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) case. The case is related to a company that was run by the ex-MLA's wife and his two brothers-in-law, among others. Earlier, the ED arrested Ansari's son Abbas, who's an MLA, and brother-in-law Atif Raza.
