Despite spending nearly ₹10 crore annually on sanitation, Sirsa Municipal Council's waste management system in Haryana is facing serious challenges, raising concerns among residents and city leaders. The municipality employs over 400 permanent and contract sanitation workers and also outsources cleaning operations to private agencies.
