Gauhati HC stays GST notice to Pepsico, cites procedural lapses
Gauhati High Court has stayed a GST show cause notice served to PepsiCo India. Authorities in the notice claimed the company incorrectly claimed input tax credit (ITC) of ₹19.51 crore in FY2018. Pepsico had argued that procedural requirements as per CGST Act, 2017 were not followed in the issuance of the notice.
