Uttar Pradesh cabinet minister Jai Pratap Singh on Wednesday said Gautam Budh Nagar would move ahead of Gurugram in development and economic activity once the Noida International Greenfield Airport project at Jewar becomes operational. "We have acquired 745 hectares of...land...for the development of the airport," he added. Singh claimed that the airport project would encourage industrial growth.
