GBA clears felling of 321 trees at Hoodi substation in Bengaluru

GBA has conditionally approved the felling of 321 trees and translocation of 16 others at Hoodi substation in East Bengaluru. The clearance is for a KPTCL project to strengthen Bengaluru’s 220 kV Inner Ring Transmission Network. The project includes two underground cable routes connecting Hoodi, Koramangala and EDC substations to improve power transmission and supply reliability.
