GBA sets Aug 15 deadline for vacant plots to clear garbage

The Greater Bengaluru Authority has asked vacant plot owners to clear garbage from their properties by August 15. If owners fail to comply, the GBA will begin cleanup operations from August 16 and recover the costs through property tax. Charges will vary based on plot size and cleaning requirements, with total expenses ranging from ₹25,900 to ₹1.74 lakh.
