Google on Thursday announced "switching tools" to let users import data, including entire chat history, from other AI chatbots directly into Gemini. Gemini will suggest to users a prompt which they can enter into their current chatbot to generate a response that can be copied and pasted back into Gemini. Google also renamed the 'past chats' feature to 'memory'.
