Yuva Nagarik Meter, a study conducted in 11 major cities of India, revealed that gender biased attitudes and negative stereotypes are widespread in the youth of urban India. Almost 39% of girls and 43% of boys agreed that women have to accept a certain degree of violence. The survey also revealed the youths of India showing fascist tendencies.
