Gene therapy shows success in treating haemophilia B safely: Study

A UK study confirmed that a one-time gene therapy for haemophilia B remains safe and effective over 13 years. Patients showed a 10-fold drop in bleeding rates and stable factor IX levels. No long-term side effects were reported. Researchers say this simple IV treatment could offer lasting benefits for managing the rare bleeding disorder.
