Genome-edited bull passes on hornless trait to calves

Researchers at USA's UC Davis have published their findings about the dairy bull they had genome-edited to not grow horns and how the trait was passed on to its calves. This technology has been proposed as an alternative to dehorning, a common management practice performed to protect other cattle and human handlers from injuries.
